Gurinder's professional journey has taken him from computer science and education in India to technology, project delivery and regulated immigration practice in Canada.
Gurinder completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Guru Nanak Dev University, followed by a one-year postgraduate diploma in computer applications. He then pursued a three-year Master of Computer Applications program at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran.
After his studies, Gurinder worked for an information technology company in India and also spent approximately eight months as an educator. Alongside his IT and teaching work, he contributed to a leading media and public-relations company, supporting press coordination, event management and public-facing communication.
Gurinder also developed experience as an artist, anchor and comedian at college and community events. He worked independently as a television anchor for the U.S.-based Safa TV channel, further developing his communication and public-facing skills.
Gurinder moved to Canada in 2016 and completed postgraduate certificates in Supply Chain Management and Project Management. He later joined Bell Technical Solutions as a telecommunications technician, where he worked for approximately two years.
Gurinder subsequently contributed to Metrolinx-related technology projects delivered by Accenture. Over approximately two years, he supported four projects in analyst and test analyst roles. This experience strengthened his approach to documentation, quality control, stakeholder communication and careful case management.
After completing a Canadian immigration consultant program, Gurinder became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. He is licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) under licence number R710095.
