The categories of BC PNP Skills Immigration are as follows:
Skilled Worker Category: Individuals in this category have obtained an eligible job offer in a skilled occupation. Workers in skilled occupations are expected to have several years of experience.
Healthcare Professional Category: Individuals with experience and eligible job offers as physicians, nurses, psychiatric nurses, or allied health professionals may apply under this category. An eligible employment offer for one of the 11 qualifying health occupations must be obtained.
International Graduate Category: The individuals who have graduated from an accredited Canadian university or college within the last three years, are eligible for this category. To be qualified for this sub-category, you must have a job offer from a BC employer.
International Post-Graduate Category: This category is for graduates with Masters or Doctoral degrees in natural, applied, or health sciences programs of study from an eligible educational institution in British Columbia. There is no need to have a job offer to apply for this sub-category.
Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category: Workers in specific entry-level or semi-skilled positions in food processing, tourism/hospitality, long-haul trucking, or those living and working in British Columbia's Northeast Development Region may be eligible for immigration through this program.
Express Entry BC is aligned with the federal government's Express Entry immigration selection system, giving eligible applicants priority processing of both their BC PNP application and, if nominated, their permanent residence application.

Entrepreneur Immigration — Regional Pilot — This new pilot program is designed for overseas entrepreneurs who want to start a new firm in a local community in British Columbia.
Strategic Projects Category – Foreign-controlled enterprises can establish a presence in British Columbia under this category. Up to five significant foreign manager/professional or technical staff employees from outside the province can be nominated for permanent residence in the province.
